BioA long-time lurker who finally decided to get on the bandwagon. I work, I play, I watch way too much TV, and I lead a generally pretty pedestrian existence when I'm not backpacking around countries far from home. (Recent faves: Japan, New Zealand, and Australia) I am a serious nitpicker for proper grammar, spelling, and word usage that drives some of my MIT and Stanford-educated co-workers absolutely batty. I believe that girls should be proud of being good at math and I am no longer ashamed to admit that I am a total sci-fi geek, which can sometimes be a bit frustrating, as I am also a rocket scientist. I am generally very literal and rarely taken in by flights of fancy or imagination.
