As my very few readers have probably noticed by now, I don't post super-often, especially when I've been waiting what seems like years for the S3 BSG DVDs to come out so I can get back to vidding with good source! I tried this meme snurched from mamaboolj and it's actually pretty right-on, so I thought I'd stick it in, along with a very strong suggestion to go see "Atonement" if you haven't yet - so gorgeous! Snow Patrol!
Just got home from my second Snow Patrol concert in less than a year. They are really really really good in concert, and so funny! :) I'm thinking I might need to go see them again, though, since the first time, they got out of breath since it was in Denver, and for this one, the lead singer caught a cold from the OK Go lead singer, so he sounded a bit hoarse. But seriously, so much fun! SF was the 3rd stop on their 2007 North American tour, so you should check and see if they're coming to a venue near you! ;) And a great start to a 10 day vacation. Web space for my vids
Happy New Year! I have unfortunately been sick all week (as usual for me when on vacation), but at least I didn't get stuck in Denver with the blizzards. And in much belated news, I won anr's music vid contest, for which the prize was my very own shiny web space! :) So I've finally posted all 4 of my vids there and I'm working on a few more, but since I've spent most of free time knitting Christmas presents (I think I made 12 hats, 3 sweaters, and 3 scarves), I haven't finished any of them. Otherwise, nothing too exciting. I've been enjoying all of the creations that have been showing up on my flist. Hopefully more next year! I come bearing a gift horse...
Alas, for all my dreams of a few months that wouldn't be quite as busy, the reality has been exactly the opposite... But, I've finally had time to rip all the 2.5 DVDs and I just finished a vid I've been dying to make for months! Months, I tell you! :) I think it still needs a little tweaking, but I thought I'd give my flist (if anyone is still out there) first crack at comments/suggestions for improvement before I post it wide. Burbank BSG Con squee
This was the most fun I've ever had at a convention and I seriously don't have time for a complete download, nor did I take copious notes, but I'll stick in a few of my personal highlights ( under the cut )There were tons more fun bits, but I need to get some sleep. Argh! Hotel without SciFi! Nooooo!
I'm on business travel and my hotel does not get SciFi! ( Read more... )So I'll stay up all night and start on a new vid instead. Switching to night shift sucks...
